No love for Big Love

I recently fell in love with this dress at a pop-up vintage store.  The colours and the pattern are so fun and summery. Unfortunately, the shape is more appropriate for an extra on Big Love than me.  However, don’t be fooled by the conservative cut: this dress is extremely sheer, something I only discovered once I was back-lit. I’m assuming whoever owned this dress before me also owned the necessary undergarments.

So, inspired by one of my favorite blogs, I decided to have my way with this dress. And, I have the perfect party to wear it to coming up this weekend (it helps me to have a deadline). At the moment, the dress is in about 8 pieces – sleeves off, shoulder-pads removed, seams ripped open.  Now all I have to do is put it back together again.
